Why the right of independence was enjoyed and exercised by Singapore, New Zealand, Australia and Quebec - because their sovereign motherlands are democratic, liberal countries; in this regard, Singaporeans, Kiwi, and Aussie are lucky indeed;
Why Hong Kong has been denied the right of independence since 1984 - because the sovereign motherland is an authoritarian, barbarian, brutal regime; Hongkongers are ill-fated, but should we Hongkongers give up ourselves and surrender ourselves to bandits, murderers and rapers?
